Chocolate Almond Biscotti takes our classic almond biscotti and adds Belgian semisweet chocolate chunks throughout every batch. Baked in small batches on Long Island using Bruno’s 200-year-old Sicilian family recipe, it combines whole roasted almonds, almond flour, real almond extract, Belgian semisweet chocolate, and a light finish of sea salt.
The result is a crisp, balanced biscotto with warm almond flavor, rich chocolate, gentle sweetness, and the clean snap traditional biscotti should have.
Classic almond biscotti with chocolate in every bite
This flavor is made for anyone who loves traditional almond biscotti but wants the added richness of chocolate. Whole roasted almonds bring crunch and nutty flavor, while Belgian semisweet chocolate chunks add pockets of chocolate without overpowering the almond.
It is chocolatey without becoming overly sweet, making it easy to enjoy with coffee, espresso, tea, or straight from the bag.

Chocolate Almond Biscotti gets its chocolate flavor from Belgian semisweet chocolate chunks folded directly into the dough. It is not a cocoa-based biscotti.

Bought 12 bags of this flavor. TOO SALTY! (and I use and like salt) which made them not go well with my coffee and killed the taste buds. The description says “12 cookies” per bag, so I expected them to all be similar in size, not ranging in length from 2″ – 7″. A few bags the cookies were were much thinner sliced as well ( I do realize the bags are sold by weight, I just had different expectations.). I did get a number of packages in four other flavors as well. The others were much better and didn’t have the salt problem (except the chocolate, pecan, salted caramel ones, which of course are supposed to taste a little salty). They offered a refund or replacement. I agreed to a replacement to be fair (life happens sometimes). I’ll update the review after I receive them. One suggestion I would make is to have a bulk option. It would save some costs on packaging.
