My 100% Italian husband said his Mother’s recipe for biscotti were the best. I made them for him and he was really pleased. BUT, when I discovered The Biscotti Company biscotti – he said THEY were the best. They contain healthy ingredients, they are crunchy (not hard) and full of flavor. Bought 12 bags of this flavor. TOO SALTY! (and I use and like salt) which made them not go well with my coffee and killed the taste buds. The description says “12 cookies” per bag, so I expected them to all be similar in size, not ranging in length from 2″ – 7″. A few bags the cookies were were much thinner sliced as well ( I do realize the bags are sold by weight, I just had different expectations.). I did get a number of packages in four other flavors as well. The others were much better and didn’t have the salt problem (except the chocolate, pecan, salted caramel ones, which of course are supposed to taste a little salty). They offered a refund or replacement. I agreed to a replacement to be fair (life happens sometimes). I’ll update the review after I receive them. One suggestion I would make is to have a bulk option. It would save some costs on packaging.
