The flavor that started The Biscotti Company
Almond is where biscotti begins for me. It is the flavor I grew up with and the one that became the foundation of The Biscotti Company.
We bake our Almond Biscotti in small batches with whole roasted almonds, almond flour, real almond extract and a light touch of sea salt. The flavor is deeply almond-forward and gently sweet, with the crisp, clean snap a good biscotto should have.
It is rooted in the 200-year-old Sicilian family recipe that has been passed down through generations and is still baked today in our Long Island bakery.
The way I grew up eating it
I grew up dunking Almond Biscotti in espresso. Yes, even as kids, we were allowed a little espresso with our biscotto.
That tradition continues today.
Almond is still the biscotti I reach for when I have black coffee or espresso. Give it a quick one-two dunk and the crisp bite softens just enough. The deep almond flavor opens up and an elegant, almost apricot-like note comes through.

I discovered these delicious cookies at the IGA in Southold NY and have been a devoted fan ever since. I share one EVERY morning with my dog, Mr Darcy (@MrDthepom), so we opt for Almond since dogs are not chocolate friendly! I have tried many of the other flavors but I also think Almond tastes the best. So crunchy and just the right amount of sweetness.
