Ingredients

Typical ingredients include: sugar, almonds (dry roasted, unsalted), almond flour, enriched bleached wheat flour, egg, palm shortening, baking powder, anise extract, vanilla extract, sea salt, sodium stearoyl lactylate, almond extract (water, alcohol 32%, oil of bitter almond).

Contains: Almonds, Egg. Baked in a facility that handles wheat and other tree nuts. Not gluten-free.

Freshness
Enjoy your biscotti within one week of opening the bag for the best crunch and flavor. Store them in an airtight container to keep them fresh longer. Unopened bags stay fresh for six months from the production date printed on the bottom of the bag.

One of the most difficult biscotti flavors to find is the Anise. When you do get one the Anise flavor is so overwhelming it tastes like medicine or there is just no anise. My first taste of the Anise biscotti from The Biscotti Company was surprise. They got it right. That lovely anise flavor is there and lasts just long enough in your mouth to really enjoy it. No matter how many different flavors I order from The Biscotti Company, anise will always be one.

Ordered anise biscottis. Being married into the Italian family for over 40years, I’ve had many biscottis. Although the anise biscotti is a good cookie, it does lack anise flavoring.
This cookie is very dry and crunchy with a buttery aftertaste. It tastes good, as if it’s a crunchy chocolate chip cookie base without the chocolate chips. just does not taste anything like anise. I would be more likely will try a different flavor at this point?

I ordered the anise biscotti, which for me is my favorite and a difficult flavor to find. I was afraid that sometimes when you do find anise biscotti’s the flavor is overwhelming. This biscotti was perfect. As you bite into this biscotti you taste how fresh it is with just the right anise flavor. If you are looking for a really good, actually great anise biscotti you must try this one.

15 plus emails, some asking for reviews on products that I hadn’t received yet. Took 2 weeks to be delivered bcuz of recent TV success. Despite the delay I was going to order more but for one reason or another they refuse to honor any and all of the coupon codes that were included in these emails. This left a bad taste…

These are not your typical Anise biscotti, much, much better 🙂 I love anise, black licorice and anything that flavor, but it usually isn’t my husbands fave flavor. He surprised me saying how good these biscotti are. I think it’s because they aren’t strong flavored and you always add that hint of sea salt! Love, love these!!
